She was the only daughter of the state senator and his young wife. Practically born with a silver spoon in her mouth, Harlow never wanted for anything growing up. People were always super nice to her for no reason and also super fake. This left her to grow up not really knowing the difference between the two. Her mother was very attentive as was her father. Yes, life was good. In school Harlow excelled at reading at writing. Math was a bit of a bump in the road but with her parents money they were able to afford well rounded tutors. She started to take up singing in her spare time, not that she was very good at it. Harlow also took up dance. Ballet at first and then contemporary. Soon dancing had taken over her want to sing and she would dance every where. In high school she was on the cheer leading and dance team. Popular with everyone, Harlow lived in this fantasy world until the mutation showed. One night her mother wouldn't let her go out with her friends. When Harlow gave her a look, her mother's expression changed from that of an angry mother to blank. She told her daughter to be back by mid-night and that was all. Confused, Harlow went out. That night, anything she wanted it was provided. Her friends were shoving each other down to serve her. Harlow had no idea what was going on. After a few weeks she realized the power she possessed and started to expand it. Now able to move objects with her mind, as well, Harlow moved out of her parents house and moved to New York City. Here she was able (with her parents help) to secure an apartment and a good paying job as an administrative assistant for a big advertising corporation.
